Light at the end of the tunnel...

Fear not my blogger friends, despite rumors to the contrary I am here to say "I am still alive!!!" It has been a VERY busy week at work. I've been tempted to strangle several different individuals at different points this week, but fortunately resisted temptation and tried to focus on my work instead. I admit though that today's headaches were a struggle to tolerate and I found myself using my afternoon break for a power nap on the not-so-comfy sofa sections in one of our conference rooms. I took my handy-dandy new cell phone with me so I could set a timer to wake me and I must have been OUT because the alarm startled me into jerking awake. I could easily have slept another 15 minutes! However, today is finally over and we are on the home stretch for the research event taking place this week. Tomorrow is the last day and it has a short program. I'm not too worried about it. I just want to get refocused on MY work instead of other people's work (they needed help so "who do you call? Gidgetbuster!"). Okay, so that was kinda cheesy. I'm blaming it on the wine...and the super-chocolate gourmet dessert slice with the mocha whipped cream topping and caramel sauce...YUM! Sometimes business dinners can be worth spending your time for...hehehehehehehe.
