Survival: Gidget's House - Episode: The New Puppy

Well, Sadie and I survived the first night of The New Puppy but it was a grisly battle of sleeplessness and cleaning up after the biological poo factory that I brought home. She's still in that transition from eating only momma's milk to eating solid food and her system just isn't handling it quite as well as I would have hoped. I knew it would happen though. I just didn't expect her to have to eliminate solid waste every hour (or so it seemed), solid being an exaggeration of course. However Sadie has been pretty good at trying to play with the puppy and even pushes her own toys to her. One of my biggest hopes was that, in getting a companion for her, maybe Sadie would be less inclined to torture the cat. It seemed to be true, but it could just be a curiousity in something new. We'll see. We're having this week as a trial run and then I'll make the decision whether to keep the pup or give her back to my brother.
