It's not my fault....
It's difficult to conceive of a common constitution among a group of sovereign nations. Yet, if they can make it work, they would be a model for the future. It's hardly surprising that, in a group like this, there will be mass disagreement over policies and who get more benefits, etc. I really shouldn't be surprised that they are pointing their fingers at each other saying "It's not our fault, it's Britain's fault..." yadda yadda yadda. Firmly entrenched in my little cave in rural Iowa, I have to wonder how much of the global arguing is a result of the psychological effects following America's War on Terrorism. How much of global strife is based on the feeling of chaos and the unknown that we face on a daily basis? There was no direct mention of either the war or American in this article (Anger over EU summit failure) but you still have to wonder.
