Boo! Hiss hiss!

I disagree with this critique. I left work early last Friday in order to catch the last matinee (in hopes of avoiding a large crush of children) and I very much enjoyed the film. Yes, there was a lot of action. Yes, there was less interaction between Harry, Ron & Hermione, but the critic himself admitted that he hasn't read the book. If he had read the book, he might realize that to try to cram a considerably larger book into a movie of appropriate length for children is a very difficult task. He might also have realized that there is a lot of development of the characters and the plot in the fourth book -- too much for a 2.5 hour movie and apparently too much to "dazzle" and add "sparkle" for this critic's need for spellbinding entertainment.

I was very pleased with how true the movie stayed to the book, proven by the fact that I'm not screaming "artistic liberty!". That's quite a feat in itself! So this guy can just go stuff himself. :P~~~~~
