What the world is coming to....

The U.S. elderly population has increasingly been busted for selling their prescription pain killers to addicts. Why? One law enforcement officer stated some sell their pills in order to pay for electric and groceries. Is anyone else seeing red flags here? The baby boomer population becoming seniors, the declining health of Americans due to obesity trends, the questionable and increasingly expensive economy and health care costs....I can see why many seniors are risking legal consequences in order to survive. It's sad that it's come to this though. We need to do more to take care of our elders.
