Mommy, I am not happy in here....

Last weekend my family came up to my house to assist me with a "Daddy-Do List". We replaced a window in my kitchen, put up my clothesline poles, installed carpet in my bedroom, and moved my bedroom furniture from the 1st floor, to the 2nd floor in the finally-finished bedroom. Okay, it's not really "finished" but it's done enough for living in....for now.

Before we could take out the old kitchen window, I had to put my poor, much abused cat into her carrier. She was NOT pleased. I've posted a picture of her (below) telling me her opinion about the situation. It was an 8-hour job, but we finally got everything done. Of course, that's not the end of MY list, because I now have to purchase joint compound to fill in around the drywall edges. I also still need to 1) buy & paint crown moulding for the bedroom, 2) sew curtains for the bedroom, 3) paint & install shelves in the bedroom, 4) put up framed prints or etc so the walls aren't so bare, 5) rig up some sort of shelving area in the closet so I can delegate my old beat up, falling apart dresser to some other purpose that ISN'T in my bedroom, and 6) paint & fix up the 1/2 bath attached to my bedroom. *sigh* I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
