and it continues....

The office drama continues....so people we contacted in the College of Public Health freaked because they didn't have a record on file about the diagnosis of whooping cough (it's required by the state since it's such a contagious sickness)...they called the U.O. at home, who then admitted that they hadn't actually done the diagnosis testing, just said that she had the SYMPTOMS of whooping cough...then it comes out that because she wasn't diagnosed with a verified test, they say she has "Walking Pneumonia" to which I'm susceptible, having had it too many times as a teenager. This, also, is highly contagious and the fact that she was coughing without covering her mouth is tempting me to send her hate mail. Actually, I would never send hate mail, but if I end up with walking pneumonia because of her inconsiderateness, I'm going to have some STRONG words to discuss with her. Our office coordinator already had a discussion about correctly reporting her illnesses because that lie caused quite a bit of panic among a lot of people!
