Exposure....bring in the HAZMAT!

There's another thing that really pushes my buttons at work. Why is that people come in sick, spreading germs and illnesses in their contagious period, when they should be at home in quarantine??? One of the chicks (I'm using "chicks" because I feel like being derogatory) in my office, the U.O. (the Unprofessional One), was just diagnosed with bronchitis and has spent the day hacking, not covering up her mouth, throwing out those germs into the common area where we all sit. Now, some say that Bronchitis isn't contagious. Not so! According to one of our University pediatricians, it IS contagious. So, I asked my supervisor if we could send her home because we certainly don't want to be taking that crap back to our families. My request was denied, of course, and I was recommended to get out the Lysol to spray for a disinfectant. I'm going to be extremely PO'd if I get sick after this.
