I think these were my ancestors...

Hmmm...one of our University anthropologists has been working in Indonesia for some time studying the evolutionary features of human ancestry. After reading this article (ok, ok, I just skimmed it), I believe these "small archaic humans who hunted dwarf elephants and Komodo dragons" might have been my ancestors. Where else would I fit in but in a world where everything was apparently short??
Wacka wacka wacka wacka....ok, I'll lay off the cappuccino now.

I just don't understand evolution. Evidently we are growing taller because being short is not an advantage. Just not enough dwarf elephants to go around. As one of the taller species, I am forever banging my head against things which can't be good for longevity either. Will we re-evolve to be shorter in a thousand years if our standard height for objects such as stairwell ceilings, light fixtures, garage door openers and such remain the same?
