Adventures with Tylenol PM
My friend Ed Abbey recommended taking Tylenol PM as a treatment for insomnia. Actually, I have other meds that I take that fortunately have a side effect of sleepiness so it's not as big of a problem as it used to be. I have only tried Tylenol PM once in my life and that night will remain in my memory for quite some time. For those of you who may have witnessed by 21st birthday at the bars (the one and only time I've ever been "drunk"), you would have seen some remarkable similarities watching me after taking Tylenol PM....uncontrollable giggling, stumbling, running into walls, a rotating room, slurring words as I sang along with the radio late into the night (my roomie was gone for the weekend). There was no sleepiness involved but instead there was a euphoria that really made me uneasy once it wore off. I threw away the bottle and will never ever take it again!

You drunk! I would have paid good money to see that happen. Of course, I say that mostly with memories of the old Gidget in high school. For me, the Tylanol PM puts me into a dreamless and heavy sleep. I've never had those side effects but then again, I have never mixed it with alcohol.
I don't mix any medication, over-the-counter or prescribed, with alcohol. My kidneys hurt just thinking about it!
I missed that you were comparing being drunk with the effects of PM. Now I understand. That's just how rumors get started! ;)
