Geiger counter?

You'll have to bear with me because I find certain idiosyncracies about my puppy rather amusing. She's just about the only exciting thing going on in my life right now anyway, outside of seeing and talking to fabulous friends.

So, back to the geiger counter. I'm trying to train Sadie to "potty" outside, so we frequently head for the great outdoors in order to take every opportunity for learning. What makes me laugh is the way she sniffs everything. She's a loud sniffer and it reminds me of the sound of a geiger counter...rapid with a fairly regular rhythm. I admit I'm a little concerned that she's going to accidentally get more than she planned in a sniff, but I suppose that's part of the learning, eh?
