It's all Mikey's fault....

So I stopped by Barnes and Noble after my chiropractor appointment (bless her, she eased my headache and got my neck back in whack) tonight. I was looking for the 2nd book in the trilogy I had started to read during my vacation. This trilogy is a little different than the the other the author had written and I find myself closing the book at the end of a chapter thoughtfully "hmmmm"-ing. In fact, this trilogy is rather violent and filled with plots of sex abuse and slavery. It reminds me of the tone Anne Rice uses in her books. But, overall, I like the storyline so I'll keep reading. I also found my favorite thank-you cards with gold-leafed French designs on it. I am nearly out of them and have been waiting for the store to restock these specific cards for several months. When I saw they were on the shelf, I did quick happy dance and added a packet to my purchases. I say purchases because for the first time I stopped at their coffee counter to purchase a drink. I was feeling really tired and I knew I'd be drozy on the road. Not good. I knew a small caffeinated drink would wake me up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered their coffee counter was actually a Starbucks!! Yes, very nearly a full-service Starbucks! So, needless to say, I'm hooked on the frappaccino's. It didn't last long and now I'm rather hyper. I probably won't fall asleep any time soon, but oh well. That's why I'm blogging right now! And, bonus! My fabulous friend Becky is online! Woohoo!

Oh yeah, why is it Mikey's fault? Because he got me hooked on Starbucks...that's why! :P~~~~~ I suppose I'll now develop that internal radar that tells me when a Starbucks is in the vicinity. I swear Mikey has one. I'll have to have a chat with the mini-Starbucks people in the local cafe...we need to expand their menu...oh yes...we definitely need more options.
