An annoying Monday...

Alright...now I was in a pretty good mood for it being a Monday, but it really angers me when people have issues with something that involves my desk and duties but won't talk to me about it. Instead, I have to hear it from a third party. My office is a cesspool of backstabbing gripes. I try not to get involved (except in the case of the U.O. and even that gets to be a broken record) but sometimes it's unavoidable. The problem stems from that we are all so busy with our work that we tend to block out everyone else (at least in my case) so I may not notice or hear another staff member telling me something. Sometimes I only half listen and then forget it within a few minutes. But, I don't complain because I have to question how much of it is my own fault and how much of it is the fault of the other person... something to consider??
