Cracked my noggin'....

You know things aren't going well when you turn to adjust the airflow of a fan only to crack your head against the pointy corner of a shelf and spend the next hour with tears running down your face, your right eye going a little numb and sharp stabbing pain shooting down through your skull. Yeah, I did that....it hurt A LOT. It still hurts and my vision is still a little blurry (only a smidgeon - and yes, I cleaned my glasses). I can't help but laugh though. Only I would give myself a slight concussion by hitting my head. I've hit my head many times, but never this hard (hard enough to remove the paint from the corner of the shelf)...certainly not hard enough to make tears come to my eyes like that. I've got a dandy goosegg to show for my weekend.

My head really aches today and ibuprofen isn't working. lol The funniest part? When I smile, the goosegg hurts...LOL (The face movement pulls on the muscles that connect at the impact point.)
