Reorganization and The U.O.
The first of the reorganization details came out on Friday. It changed the reporting structure of the facilties area and added another professional staff member to the office. In my opinion, it was a much needed change. Now that entire section reports to the Director of HR for the moment. He will be stepping down from HR work to stay in the role as Director of Facilities so this is where we add another professional position. He moves into a created position and we now have to find someone else to direct HR. On the one hand this just reinforces my belief that they have no intention of getting me away from the receptionist duties so it makes me want to look for new jobs. On the other hand, I have to cackle because now the U.O. has to report to the current HR director. Muhahahahahha...she won't be able to get away with her crap anymore. Sweet justice... She was awfully pale and very upset for most of Friday after being informed of the change. Maybe she'd better think long and hard at how she wants her career to go from here...eh?
