The Gospel of Judas and Prince Charles...

What do the two have in common? Absolutely nothing except that they both appeared in articles in National Geographic. LOL.

So, apparently they have found the mythical Gospel of Judas, one of the books discarded by early Christian organizations because it claims Judas gave up Jesus to the Romans at Jesus' request. It professes that Jesus wanted to give up his material existance. Interesting, and being a staunch supporter of the separation of church and state, I thoroughly enjoyed the outrage of Orthodox Christians. *snicker* It was a short story since it was recently recovered and is in the process of being restored and translated. I look forward to more stories later. ;)

Did you know Prince Charles is an avid supporter of sustainable living? Who knew?? I certainly didn't and his experiments on sustainable living make me want to visit England! He's created a whole town around local commerce and walking as transportation...fascinating! If you find yourself in England, visit Poundbury and then we simply must chat!!

I heard about both of those things awhile ago. I probably watch too much PBS. The thought of a prince living in the lap of luxury, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, to be a "greenie" seems like an oxymoron. But I guess it is true.

I found the translation to English on the National Geographic’s web site and had a read. Just a few words on old parchment, not much of a god spell there. Kind of a nutty story too, hard to understand with out notes in the margins. The story about the story is more compelling. I did find a few good runescape names for noob characters: Galila, Yobel, Adonaios, and Harmathath (just barley fits with the 10 character limit.)
