Confessions of an Impulse Shopper

Yes, I must confess. I am an impulse shopper. I've learned to somewhat curb these impulses, but they are there regardless. Take tonight, for example, I had an appointment to get my hair cut. For the past half year I've been letting my old hair color grow out until all that was left was my natural color. But my hair, in its natural state, drives me batty because it's so baby-fine in texture that I can't do anything with it and it always looks plastered to my head. Not attractive, let me tell you. So, as the salonist was preparing to wet and shampoo my hair, I asked her how much a partial highlight would be...then I asked if she had the time. Lo and behold, she did! My $35 haircut suddenly turned into a $65 dollar cut and color (with the tip). lol Oh well. I like the color and I like the cut. We'll just see if I can style it somewhat properly in the morning!

I also went astray of my list while visiting Target, but hey...when you're wandering in the new grocery section and you see your favorite cereal on sale 2 boxes for $3.00....who wouldn't buy it?? At least I came out of the kitchen section with my wits (and checkbook) intact. LOL If anyone knows where I can find some reasonably priced rice bowls, please share your source!!

I too am an impulse buyer but mostly in certain stores. As I have said in some of my previous posts, I admit I have BBD a.k.a. Best Buy Disease but I am on the twelve step program and have already passed step one, admitting I have a problem. It's the other eleven steps I have been working on with little success in the last ten years since I passed step one that are the real doozies.
