Midnight Cleaning

One of the disadvantages of having pets is the occasional episodes of midnight cleanings that occur...especially when you have an acrobatic cat and come home to find one of your favorite plants on the floor, the pot shattered and both pets joyfully playing in the dirt. I have a tropical plant that I've carefully taken care of this past year. It nearly died after a bad spider mite infestation but I was able to nurture it back to health, only to have Maia the Mischievous knock it off it's pedestal. I was not happy. There were no crashes while I was home, so it had to have happened during the day. Therefore Sadie was not involved in the crime, she was only guilty of eating the plant soil and helping to fling it everywhere. Fortunately they hadn't dug into the root ball so it may yet live. *sigh*
