What's your secret?
I'm trying to get caught up on my newspaper reading and have been rapidly scanning past issues to look for items of interest. In a June 9th paper I found an article describing a blog on blogspot where individuals can post their secrets anonymously. I visited the site, uncertain what I'd find, and after reading all of the posted secrets, all I can say is we've got a really screwed up world out there. So many people hiding secrets of being sexually abused, drug abuse, and other pains...I just want to bundle them all up and give them a hug. There are secrets that make you cringe as you read them, others than make you nod your head in empathy and still others that make you say "gross" and "weirdo". Regardless, we all have the need to share secrets to an objective and non-judgemental audience.
I encourage you to take a look. You'll find it to be enlightening. Maybe you'll find a reason to send your own secret for posting.

I've been reading that blog for several weeks now and find it strangely fascinating. I think it makes me feel better about my life.
I keep meaning to add a link to it in my sidebar to bring it to other's attention but keep forgetting.
