NASA may fly shuttle even if sensor problem returns
WHAT???? Um...hello...did you not watch Apollo 13? Did you not pay attention to the Challenger tragedy? Why would they fly the shuttle if there's a sensor problem. Duh! CNN.com - NASA may fly shuttle even if sensor problem returns - Jul 25, 2005

From what I have heard, it is one of four sensors that same the same thing. Seeing that it is a fuel tank sensor and they have to know that it is full before take-off, I think I would be willing to roll the dice too.
I see where some debris fell off during take-off. Probably everyone being over sensitive but who can blame them.
I heard about the debris, as well. Supposedly it's what happend to the Columbia...something hit the hull during take off, causing damage that prevented a safe return. NASA was freakin' out about it for awhile, but decided all was well after a close inspection.
