The intrusion of reality...
Wednesdays are my TV nights. I limit myself to one night of routine show-watching so that I can claim to somewhat have a life on the other nights. LOL. In college, there were shows my roommates and I would watch every night of the week. I think that's why we were all struggling so much to get homework and etc done on time. I remember the endless hours of sitting in front of the boob tube and I decided several years ago, to reduce my tv-watching. Thus, "TV Night" was born. So I was watching LOST, discovering it was a rerun of the series pilot when I fell asleep. (I must be becoming an old-fogey because I get sleepy by 9:00 p.m. now, but I'm blaiming the wine cooler for last night's early snoozing.) It was a good thing the show was a re-run! Also, with the pilot being a two-hour show, my 9:00 p.m. show, Invasion, wasn't on. Shew! I didn't miss anything.
I did, however, wake up stiff and sore at 2:00 a.m. at which point I let the dogs out and we crawled upstairs to sleep in a real bed. I knew I'd have trouble hearing the 5:00 a.m. alarm so I wanted to get back to sleep ASAP! Ironically, I didn't have trouble hearing the alarm, but I wasn't awake either. I was dreaming...and, in the dream, I was visiting an elderly person's house with friends. There was an alarm going off in the house that was really annoying me. I have to laugh. When I finally did wake up, I discovered it was 6:00 a.m. and the alarm had been beeping for an hour! *sigh* It's too bad the dream absorbed by alarm because I've been rushing to get ready ever since! I'll probably regret taking the few minutes to write this now...lol

Lost has disappointed me simply in the fact that every other week is a rerun. What's the deal? It was the second season of a hit show. They should have had a full slate of new episodes!
ABC has been rocking with new shows while the other networks are still tripping in Reality land.
yeah, the reality shows get very old very quickly. Have you seen the advertisement for the new one? "Black. White." in which two faces trade races. I think they're asking for a lot of trouble.
I mean "in which two families trade races..." sheesh. :)
I haven't seen it but I have heard about it. Other than Survivor, I don't watch reality shows anymore. I'm trying to cut back on television in general.
2 shows for me: Beauty and the Geek (which is the ONLY "reality" show I'll watch, simply because it IS different from the others; it's cute, and not mean or catty) and Battlestar Galactica. That's it, that's all I care about.
Mainly, Friday night is my guilty pleasure nite.
And I shouldn't have taken the time to sit down and right this. I'm gonna be late for work. ;-)
