A small taste of Florida....

Sunset at Lido Beach in Sarasota. The tide was low, revealing a hard-packed area of beach with a scattering of broken seashells and some kind of seaweed. At the water line, seagulls gathered in small throngs only to disperse as children ran through them. We had just spent several hours wandering around St. Armand's Circle, a large area of shops, restaurants and cafes, before returning to catch the sunset.
