Nakedness and matchmaking

I was channel surfing last night and happened upon some new shows that were very interesting.

The first was How to Love Your Body Naked with Carson from the "Fab Five". In the same theme as Extreme Makeover, Carson helps women with their body images and finding their beauty. The difference is that Carson does so without a surgical component. It has it's funny moments, but the most appealing thing about the show is how he helps your average women accept her body and learn how to love herself. It's amazing how the women go in crying, ashamed to look at themselves in a mirror, but by the end of the show they are radiant with confidence and even do photo shoots...naked! It's a show that makes you smile.

The second show I discovered was Matched in Manhatten. If you've seen the movie Hitch, you'll know what this show is about. I laughed hysterically at some of the dating taboos this guy's clients were committing. For example, it's not a good idea to profess undying love for your companion on the 2nd date and then call him/her every 30 minutes the next day. I've got one word for that...MENTAL. Also, no matter how important your dog is to you, a first date really should be about your date and not the dog you brought with you in a carrier. Yeah. You have to wonder why the person is interested in dating if the dog "is her life" as she claims. I think we could apply MENTAL to this one too.

It's interesting what you can find when you channel surf...
