There is always a way...

I was crawling under my desk earlier this afternoon, causing a few of my coworkers to wonder what on earth I was organzing this time. All they saw was me appearing to be measuring my desk with a ruler. In actuality, a very important sticky note with some data on it had fallen between two portions of my desk and I was trying to retrieve it by using the ruler to drag it toward the front crevice.

It didn't work.

So, in the spirit of creativity, I considered what to do next...then promptly put a piece of scotch tape on the end of the ruler, grabbed my letter opener and set to the task of getting the tape attached to the sticky note by using the letter opener to press the tape onto the sticky. It seemed almost surgical in nature... lol BUT, it worked!

Thus the moral for today: "There is always a way..."

It's been days since I've actually been able to comment on your blog and your blog is the only one I have trouble with. I think it has something to do with the way your comments work since it is different than all the other sites I comment on. My blog and other blogs seem to be working fine this week.

Sticky Note: Your other past life might have had engineering in it with that ingenuity.

Home Remodel: Speaking from experience, I wish you the best of luck.

Living Under a Rock: Can't believe you hadn't heard about that. As a self-proclaimed news junkie, I subscribe to CNN email news alerts which keep me informed even at work.
